Save the Date is a romantic comedy that opened in limited release with a Tomatometer Score below 50% positive. Did it fail to find an audience because it is the wrong genre? Or did the word of mouth kill it? Then again, it is a romantic comedy and those rarely do well in limited release. It opened well, but struggled as it tried to expand. Laggies is a film that opened in limited release earning much better buzz than most films do. Is this something that will only appeal to critics like many other limited releases I’ve reviewed? Or is there another reason it failed to find a mainstream audience? However, it struggled as it tried to expand and by the time it was nationwide, its per theater average was below $2,000. His mother, Cheri Lynn Honkala, is a noted advocate for the homeless in Philadelphia, and was the vice-presidential nominee of the Green Party in the 2012 presidential election. Webber was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he spent the first nine years of his life.
